About Elgin Park Animal Hospital

Elgin Park Animal Hospital is a locally owned veterinary clinic serving dogs and cats in South Surrey and White Rock. Founded in January 2026 by Dr. Kanwarjeet Singh, the practice was built on a straightforward belief: every pet deserves attentive, honest, and compassionate care, and every pet owner deserves to understand exactly what is happening with their animal and why. We combine clinical experience with a genuine commitment to the community we serve. Whether your pet is here for a routine wellness visit, a same-day urgent concern, or something more complex, you will find a team that takes its time, listens carefully, and communicates clearly at every step.

Our Clinic

Elgin Park Animal Hospital is located at Unit 103, 3010 148 Street in South Surrey, British Columbia. We offer extended hours throughout the week, open Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM, making it easier for working families to access veterinary care without rearranging their schedules. We serve dogs and cats across South Surrey, White Rock, Morgan Crossing, Grandview Heights, Elgin, and the surrounding communities. Our clinic is designed to be calm, welcoming, and as low-stress as possible for both pets and their families.

What We Believe

We believe that good veterinary care starts with good communication. A pet owner who understands what is happening with their animal, what the options are, and what to expect is a better partner in their pet’s care. We take the time to explain clearly, answer questions without rushing, and make sure you leave every appointment informed and confident. We also believe in fair, transparent pricing and in recommending only what your pet genuinely needs. There is no pressure here and no upselling. Just straightforward care, clearly explained.

Meet Dr. Kanwarjeet Singh (Rocky), DVM, B.V.Sc & A.H.

Dr. Kanwarjeet Singh, known to his patients and colleagues as Dr. Rocky, brings over 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) from Punjab Agricultural University in 2001. Over the course of his career in India, Dr. Rocky worked with a wide range of species including dogs, cats, dairy animals, horses, and poultry, developing strong clinical instincts across both companion animal and large animal medicine.

Dr. Rocky moved to Canada in 2020. During the period he spent working toward Canadian licensure, he served as a Veterinary Assistant at Mainland Animal Emergency in Surrey, gaining direct exposure to high-acuity cases and the fast-paced environment of emergency veterinary care. After obtaining his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) license in 2021, he joined the team at Mainland Animal Emergency Clinic as a practicing veterinarian and subsequently worked as a locum veterinarian at several pet hospitals across the Lower Mainland, broadening his experience across a diverse range of practice settings and case types.

Dr. Rocky particularly enjoys companion animal medicine and surgical procedures. He places a high value on thorough conversations with pet owners, believing that a clear understanding of a pet’s condition and care options leads to better decisions and better outcomes. In January 2026, Dr. Rocky founded Elgin Park Animal Hospital, bringing together everything he has learned across 25 years of practice into a clinic built on the values of quality, compassion, and transparency.
